At Stolařství Mikel, we love it when our pieces come to life in the homes of people who appreciate honest craftsmanship. That's why we've decided to organize our first major competition – for an ash coffee table, which for us symbolizes new beginnings and the courage to create. But beware: the entire competition takes place exclusively on our Instagram @stolarstvi_mikel. If you want to win this unique piece, you must go there, fulfill all conditions, and participate directly under the post. Why we are competing with this particular table

A story from the first idea to the finished piece

This coffee table is not just ordinary furniture – it's our first prototype, on which we spent hundreds of hours in the workshop. When we designed it, it was unclear whether anyone would want it or similar models. It was a risk, but today we know the answer is yes! The top is made of solid ash with a natural edge that preserves the authentic shape of the tree and gives the table a unique, organic look. The dimensions are ideal for smaller and larger living rooms: 120 cm long, 60 cm wide, and 50 cm high. The surface is treated with natural oil, which protects the wood from daily use and highlights the beautiful grain of ash – light, creamy tones with long lines.

The base is solid metal, in a matte black finish, which gives the table an industrial touch and ensures stability even with intensive use. The entire table weighs around 40 kg, making it robust yet easily portable. It's a piece that fits into modern interiors, Scandinavian style, or even lofts – it brightens up the space and becomes the center of the living room.

Ash is one of our favorite materials – hard, yet light and aesthetically pleasing. Unlike oak, which is darker and more rustic, ash brings lightness and airiness. The competition runs from now until March 31, 2026, at midnight. The winner will be randomly drawn from those who meet all conditions. We will verify likes, shares, follows, and comments, and then contact you via DM. If you do not respond within 48 hours, we will draw again.

Important condition in case of winning

If you win, you must pick up the table in person at our workshop in Beskydy. No shipping – we want to meet, talk about woodworking, and experience that moment together. It's important for us to see where our piece is going. If you're from far away, consider it – Beskydy is beautiful and worth the trip!

Full contest rules here

This competition is organized by Stolařství Mikel (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer") via the social network Instagram on the profile @stolarstvi_mikel. The competition is governed by the legal order of the Czech Republic and these rules, which are binding for all participants. By participating in the competition, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these rules.

1. Terms of Participation:
   • Only a natural person over 18 years of age, residing permanently in the Czech Republic and having an active Instagram account, may participate in the competition.
   • The participant must be able to pick up the prize in person at the Organizer's workshop in Beskydy (the specific address will be provided to the winner). No sending of the prize by mail or courier is possible.
     
   • The participant enters the competition by completing the following steps directly under the competition post on Instagram: a) "Like" (❤️) the competition post. b) Share the post (🔄), possibly in a story. c) Follow the profile @stolarstvi_mikel. d) Add a comment under the post answering the question: "Why do you wish to win this table?" and tag a close person.
   • Each participant may enter only once. Duplicate entries will be excluded.
   • Entries that are illegal, immoral, indecent, racist, or otherwise contrary to good morals, as solely determined by the Organizer, will be excluded from the competition.
2. Competition Duration: The competition runs from the moment the competition post is published on Instagram until March 31, 2026, at 23:59 (Central European Time).
3. Winner Selection:
   • The winner will be randomly drawn from all participants who meet all the terms of participation.
   • The drawing will take place within 4 working days after the end of the competition.
   • The winner will be contacted via private message (DM) on Instagram. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be drawn.
   • The winner's name may be published on the @stolarstvi_mikel profile with their consent.
4. Prize:
   • The prize is an ash coffee table measuring 120 × 60 × 50 cm with a natural edge and a solid metal base.
   • The prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other compensation. The Organizer reserves the right to change the prize in unforeseen circumstances.
   • The winner is obliged to pick up the prize in person at the Organizer's workshop in Beskydy within 30 days of the prize notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
5. Personal Data Protection:
   • Participants' personal data (Instagram username, winner's contact details) will be processed only for the purpose of the competition in accordance with GDPR regulations. After the competition ends, the data will be deleted.
   • Participants have the right to access, rectify, or erase their data.
6. Other Provisions:
   • This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta (Instagram owner). All questions regarding the competition should be directed to the Organizer.
   • The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or change the competition terms at any time without giving a reason.
   • By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to these rules and confirms that they are not excluded from participation.
   • All disputes arising in connection with the competition will be resolved according to Czech law before the competent courts in the Czech Republic.
