Coffee Tables

Every table passes through our hands. From the selection of wood to processing and final oiling. No assembly lines, no compromises.

You communicate directly with Petr Mikel. We will discuss dimensions, wood type, details and your ideas – without a call center or intermediaries.

Oak and ash from harsh mountain climates grow slower. This gives them higher density, better strength, and a more beautiful grain.

We prefer to make fewer tables, but to make them well. Each piece should be an original, one that will last for decades and become a part of your home.

Oak is extremely hard and durable. It has a distinct, warm, and characteristic grain that adds depth and personality to the table. It withstands daily use very well, making it particularly suitable for family dining. It ages beautifully over time and gains character. It is an ideal choice for both classic and rustic interiors.

Ash looks lighter and more modern. Its grain is distinctive but finer than oak. It is strong and stable, yet visually lighter, making it ideal for bright, Scandinavian, and minimalist interiors. It creates an airy and clean impression without losing the feel of solid wood.

Veneer is only a thin layer of wood glued to particleboard or MDF. It is easily damaged and, unlike solid wood, cannot be repaired locally. It does not have the same weight, density, or feel of quality wood and often loses its appearance after a few years. A solid wood slab, on the other hand, can be sanded, oiled, and renovated for decades.
