In our collection of star tables, the name ALTAIR holds a special place. We named it after the bright star that forms the apex of the Summer Triangle. It is direct, unmistakable, and shines brightly – precisely the kind of table we wanted to create. A coffee table that exudes confidence in an interior, yet remains understated. Why ALTAIR?

ALTAIR is our versatile coffee table that combines modern elegance with a pleasant, homey feel. It is not overly massive, yet it appears sturdy and stable. Thanks to its dimensions and light appearance, it is perfectly suited for smaller and larger living rooms, lofts, Scandinavian interiors, and classic family homes.

Each ALTAIR is unique. The wood is never the same – knots, annual rings, and natural grain give each piece its own soul.

Material and surface finish

The table is made from solid oak or ash from the higher altitudes of the Beskydy Mountains. Wood from these areas grows slower, is denser, and has a beautifully readable grain.

The surface is treated with natural OSMO oil, which protects the wood from everyday use, stains, and daily life, while allowing its natural beauty to shine through. The oil can be applied in various shades – from light natural to warm honey tones.

Dimensions and construction

The standard dimensions of ALTAIR are 120 × 60 cm with a height of 50 cm. This format is ideal for everyday use – coffee, books, board games, or simply resting your feet.

The metal base provides the table with a stable foundation and a modern industrial touch. The combination of wood and metal does not appear harsh – on the contrary, it creates a pleasant balance between nature and contemporary design.

Customization options

As with all our tables, we can produce ALTAIR exactly to your specifications:

• Shade of natural oil
• Shape, height, and color of the metal base
• Possibility of production from another wood species (on request)

Production usually takes 2–4 weeks from order confirmation.

How ALTAIR is made in our workshop

Each table goes through the hands of the same people from start to finish. We select suitable material, carefully dry the board, hand-process, sand, and finally treat it with oil. All joints glued under high pressure ensure long-term stability without creaking. The metal base is custom-made to perfectly match the tabletop.

The result is a coffee table that is not anonymous. It has its character, its texture, and its place in the interior.
