In our collection of stellar tables, the name ALDEBARAN takes first place. We named it after the bright star in the constellation Taurus, which symbolizes strength, warmth, and an inconspicuous yet prominent presence. This is exactly the kind of table we wanted to create – not flashy, but strong. A table that dominates the interior without overwhelming it. A table where people will want to linger longer.

Why ALDEBARAN?

ALDEBARAN is our basic and best-selling dining table. It was created as a versatile model that fits into most interiors – from modern minimalist apartments to Scandinavian style, rustic or loft spaces. It has a strong character, a warm wood tone, and the honest craftsmanship that is typical for us.

Every ALDEBARAN is unique. The wood is never the same – knots, annual rings, natural curves, and structure give each piece its own personality.

Material that lasts generations

We exclusively produce the table from solid oak or ash from higher elevations of the Beskydy Mountains and their surroundings. Wood from these areas grows slower, is denser, and has a more pronounced structure. No veneers, laminates, or particle board – just honest Czech solid wood.

The surface is treated with natural OSMO oil, which protects the wood from everyday use, stains, and at the same time highlights its natural beauty. We can apply the oil in various shades – from natural light to warm honey or darker tones.

Hand-forged metal base by an artistic blacksmith

One of ALDEBARAN's most distinctive features is its metal base. We don't rely on mass-produced legs. We collaborate with artistic blacksmith Roman Křenek, who hand-shapes each base. The result is a strong, stable, and aesthetically clean foundation that beautifully contrasts with the natural tabletop.

The base can be customized – change the shape of the legs, color (matte black, corten, or other shades), or construction according to your preferences.

Customization options

Although ALDEBARAN has its basic form, we can make it exactly to your needs:

• Dimensions: Standard 120 × 80 cm, but we commonly produce tables from 120 cm up to 300 cm in length and 80 or 90 cm in width.
• Edges: Straight edge (modern and minimalist), beveled edge (lighter and airier look), or natural/live edge (organic tree trunk shape).
• Tabletop thickness: Standard approx. 3.8–4 cm, thicker upon request.
• Oil shade: Natural, warm, or darker.
• Base: Custom color and construction.

Custom production usually takes 2–4 weeks from order confirmation.

How ALDEBARAN is made in our workshop

Each table passes through the hands of the same people from start to finish. First, we select a suitable log, then we dry the slab, hand-process it, sand it, and finally treat it with oil. Joints glued under high pressure ensure long-term stability without creaking. The metal base is hand-forged by Roman Křenek in his workshop.

The result is a table that is not anonymous. It has its story, its structure, and its soul.
